A car is a wheeled traveling vehicle designed for the transportation. Many definitions of automobiles state that they are road vehicles, usually seat eight to sixteen people, carry goods, and move mostly on paved roads rather than dirt ones. A car can be mechanically powered by means of an engine, transmission, or mechanical parts. The mechanical parts include the transmission, the engine, the brakes, etc. Car engines can be gasoline, internal combustion, or diesel powered.
The next time you log onto Facebook, take a moment to look at the pictures of people driving their new cars around town. Notice how some cars just seem to move gracefully while others seem like they could fall over. One photo in particular seems to depict a person driving their new Mercedes-Benz with a new album sitting in the passenger seat behind them. Is this person posting pictures from their new Mercedes-Benz or is it possible that this is someone that is posting from their Facebook page? I believe that the answer lies in the “like” bar at the top of their profile.
If you take a moment to read through the profile pages of some of the people that you know the most about, you will notice that they all have something in common. In many cases, these individuals all have a Facebook page of some kind. Some of the individuals posting updates from their Facebook pages are posting pictures of their latest trip to the beach, a concert, a convention, or a newly adopted puppy. Others are posting pictures of the latest trends in technology, cooking recipes, or photos of the newest candy-o from a local store. Is it possible that these folks are posting from their new Mercedes-Benz to share their latest “trending” news with their social network friends?
Well, now you may be able to answer the question. Yes, it is possible that this could very well be the case. Mercedes-Benz has just released a high-performance, ultra luxury car called the Mercedes-Benz ML Wireless multimedia system which is complimented by a large LCD touch screen with the ability to scroll up and down the screen. With the Touch screen, the potential is for Mercedes Benz to release a new wave of multimedia products such as the candy-o and the power pop songstress.
So, what does this mean for us music critics? It means that there is a strong possibility that Mercedes-Benz is gearing up to release a brand new wave of multimedia products such as the new wave of the candy-o and the power pop songstress. Could the new line of Mercedes-Benz audio products also be directed toward the music world as well? Could the new wave of Mercedes-Benz audio products include heavy metal music in the future? Well, if you think about it, can you really separate one medium from another as far as music is concerned? After all, even the Apple iPod and the Sony PlayStation can play mp3’s and video games… so, can Mercedes-Benz?
This could very well be the beginning of a new wave of Mercedes-Benz products such as the new wave of multimedia products such as the ML Wireless multimedia system along with the Rock Band video game. In fact, I believe that this could very well be the start of something very good. Last year, Ocasek move like crazy into their third year of selling the Car CD player. Can they do the same this year with the new CD for the Mercedes-Benz E Class sedan?
